In the opening episode of the 9th Doctor era, the Doctor & Rose defeat the Nestene Consciousness, who was trying to take over earth using plastic mannequins as it's army and the Eye of London as a transmitter dish. In this book the Nestenes are back trying again to take over earth using a huge mall as their launching pad. Now it's the 10th Doctor who defeats them. Again I wasn't able to put the book down.
