WOW !!! The 2nd volume of the ongoing series which collects issues #7-12 is as great as the 1st one. General Hawk had to eat his hat and admit that Cobra is a real threat and that Scarlet isn't a traitor. Snake Eyes find his match and almost get himself killed. And Destro is still trying to invent the matter transporter. Thanks god that Scotty isn't around to help him and Cobra. The difference between the new IDW continuity and the old comics is that while in the old comics the JOEs were founded as an answer to Cobra's threat, in the new comics the JOEs were founded long before anyone was aware of Cobra. But who cares. I love reading both continuities.
The story is very exiting and full of action. The art is just wonderful !!! Looking forward to vol. 3 which I'm planning to buy only in October in accordance with my 1 TPB per month resolution. Next month's TPB will be Operation Hiss from the movie continuity.
