This is the 1st book I read from the Young Bond serie in any format. The jury is still out on the serie. The idea of books telling about James Bond's adventruers as a teenager is good, but it wasn't as enjoyable as Rick Riordan's books. Don't klnow if it's because I read it in graphic novel format or not. I have 2 more books in written format and will save my judgment till I'll read them.

Doctor Who: The resurresction casket
The Doctor and Rose find themselves in an EMP zone with a non functional Tardis. The local population adopted by using steam power instead of electrisity and electronics. The Doctor and Rose have to find a way to get the Tardis away from that zone to get it functional again. Their efforts are humpard (sp) by blood thristy robots who used to be pirates and whose aim is to ressurect their human leader and return to their pirate days. Very good book.
Eureka: Substitution method
Finding the Eureka books is the best thing that happened during my London vacation. I love the TV show and the 1st books is as good as the show. What started as a boring day in Eureka developed into a very crazy one when houses from Eureka were transfared to other location in the U.S.A and were replaced but the houses that were standing in that spot. Sheriff Carter with the help of his daughter Zoe, his friend Henry and of course Fargo, had to contain the situation and keep the world from discovering the existence of Eureka. A very entertaining book. Another one to the WOW list.
Big red tequila - Rick Riordan
I love Rick Riordan's children books ( pecy Jackson, The Kane chronicals etc.) so I've decided to try his crime books and wasn't disappointed. This book is a bit different from other crime books I usually read. Yes, the main character (Tres Navarre) solves the murders but in a different way. He is not a policeman or PI or a famous mysrery writer. He has Phd in English and 10 years after his father the town sherrief was murdered before his eyes in a shoot by, Tres return to his home town and solve the murder. He doesn't end up with the girl and hooks up with a local buisnessman / mobster to put the squeeze on the local politician who was responsible for the murder.

Comics new from Dynamite
There maybe a Kevin Smith plotted, Elliot Serrano scripted Six Million Dollar Man comic coming from Dynamite Entertainment sometime soon.
A new Flash Gordon series would launch around August or September.
With Dynamie "soon" and naming a month doesn't mean anything. But at least there are new.

New comics
- Sherlock Holmes: Year one #2
5 new comics so far in March 2011. Hopefully the next time I'll post list of new comics it will be a very long one :)
Deadly decision - Kathy Reichs
Sherlock Holmes: The trial of Sherlock Holmes
Not wriiten by Arthur Conan Doyle, but still a classic Holmes book. Except for the last few pages where it's not clear who was behind the plot to imprison Holmes. It looks like the bad guy is his brother Mycroft who did it to keep Britania out of the German/French problems. I enjoyed reading it a lot although from the beginning I suspected correctly why Holmes was framed. The art is wonderful and shows a very realistic 19th centurey London.

True Blood #1-6
IDW's 1st True Blood mini series, later re-named "All together now", is much more readable then Charliane Harris's books. to me anyway. The story on the other hand is not very exciting. 6 issues of the main cast telling their most shameful secrets to a monster that feeds on the shame, is boring. I prefer more action and mystery in my comics. Hopefuly the new mini series True Blood: Tainted love will have it.
Murder she wrote: Martinis & mayhem
A joy to read. Not one for the WOW list but I enjoyed reading it. Jessica Fletcher, the lucky woman she is, is not bothered by life and is able to prolong her stay in San Fransico to solve a murder mystery and prove, with the help of her friend DI Sutherland from Scotland Yard, the innocence of a woman who was framed and wrongly convicted of murdering her hubby.
Star Trek Voyager: Full circle
I'm a Trekkie. Been one for years. There were years that I read only Star Trek books. But lately I find it difficult to finish reading Star Trek books, and when I manage to finish one it's usually a struggle. Weird. This book is no different. The book contains 2 stories. The 1st one is about Tom Paris's wife & baby daughter being kidnapped by a Klingon fanatic group, and the race to free them and keep them away from another group that want to kill the baby. This part was OK and I enjoyed reading it.
The 2nd part was about 2 admirals & a captain conniving to get Voyager's command away from Chakotay and send the ship with other ships back to the delta quadrant to check if the Borg are really gone. The story is very annoying and for the life of me I can't understand why Chakotay can't cope with Janeway's death. It's not like he is the 1st person ever to loose some one he loves. I only managed to skip through this part of the book.
