Star Trek Voyager: Full circle

I'm a Trekkie. Been one for years. There were years that I read only Star Trek books. But lately I find it difficult to finish reading Star Trek books, and when I manage to finish one it's usually a struggle. Weird. This book is no different.

The book contains 2 stories. The 1st one is about Tom Paris's wife & baby daughter being kidnapped by a Klingon fanatic group, and the race to free them and keep them away from another group that want to kill the baby. This part was OK and I enjoyed reading it.

The 2nd part was about 2 admirals & a captain conniving to get Voyager's command away from Chakotay and send the ship with other ships back to the delta quadrant to check if the Borg are really gone. The story is very annoying and for the life of me I can't understand why Chakotay can't cope with Janeway's death. It's not like he is the 1st person ever to loose some one he loves. I only managed to skip through this part of the book.
