On a secret army base in the Californian desert, something has gone horribly, terribly wrong. Something that will send Charlie Campion and his wife and daughter fleeing in the middle of the night. Unfortunately for the Campion family--and the rest of America--they are unaware that all three of them are carrying a deadly cargo: A virus that will spread from person to person like wildfire, triggering a massive wave of disease and death, prefacing humanity's last stand! This is the 1st Stephen King book I read in any format. So far I am not disappointed. This graphic novel is the beginning of a classic pandemic threatening humanity story. The spreading virus is men made by the US goverment who try to cover their asses by dumping truckloads of bodies into the ocean. There is also a mysterious nomad whose connection to the pandemic story is still a mystery.
I'm looking forward to finding in the bargain bin the rest of the books in this serie. I wish that Marvel will release these books in TPB format too. $25 per book is too expensive.
