Jessica Mastriani, 16, has been having psychic visions ever since she was struck by lightning, earning her the nickname Lightning Girl at school. When a cheerleader disappears and is found dead, Jessica reluctantly uses her psychic abilities to catch the culprits. Liked the book. Again Jess has to navigate between her inclination to save people using her psychic abilities and the need to keep it from the Feds. This time Jess's family pay the proce for Jess's "gift" when the murderer torch their fancy restaurant.
