This book is about the old paradox of time travel: if you go back in time and kill your grandpa before your father was born, you will not be born and won't be around to go back in time and kill your grandpa. So who killed your grandpa if you was never born ???In the book the Doctor, Amy & Rory arrive at the 28th century London and meet an android who was fished out of the Thames and claim that he waited for 1.000 years in the water to warn the Doctor about a life force vampire race infesting London in 1910. The Doctor leave Amy & Rory in the 28th century to find a mysterious scientist who is bulding a time machine, and go back in the Tardis to 1910. There he finds the Vamps and the time machine, Amy & Rory. As it turned out, leaving Amy & Rory in the future is what caused the Vamps to follow them through time and space to 1910 London. As usual the Doctor save London and send the Vamps to another dimenssion.
I enjoyed reading the book more then I enjoyed the other 11th Doctor books that I read so far.
