The 11th Doctor

For me the Doctor will always be David Tennant's 10th Doctor. His cheerfulness is infectious. And when he is mad you realize that he isn't a mere human but a force to reckon with - a Time Lord. I wish he had stayed forever in the role, but unfortunately someone decided that 5 years is enough and we got Matt Smith's 11th Doctor. I've only watched 1 episode so far and my first impression is that the actor is trying too hard to imitate David Tennant. He acts crazy, speaks 10 miles a meter and jumps all over the place. But somehow he came across, to me anyway as a faded copy of Tennant. We;ll see how I'll feel about him after watching more episodes.
