It's been a very long time since I read a good English detective novel. Lately all my reading, as this blog will attest to, consist of sci-fi & vampires books. I missed reading about British cops and their murder mysteries. In this book Ellie propose to Pascoe after they find that 4 of their collage friends were murdered. Pascoe get promoted to Inspector. I didn't guess till the end who the murderer is and the motive is beyond comprehension. Murdering 4 innocent people just because one of then was going to tell the world that the murderer is un-employed and not a big wig in a big company as he pretended ???
