The 2nd book in the Typhon Pact series is disappointing and boring with a capital B. After reading half of it I started skimming till the end. When I saw that there is a Typhon Pact series, I envisioned stories about the Federation v. the Pact. Instead we get books each concentrated on a species that is part of the Pact. The 1st book was about the Breen. This one is about the Gorn. The whole story is about the U.S.S Titan trying to stop the Gorn from teraforming an inhabited planet and destroying the natives and their civilization. The book shoud have been part of the Titan books IMO.
